ABOUT US

Therapist. Counselor. Strategist. Visionary.

Meet the Founder & Director, Dr. Tina Scott

My name is Dr. Tina Scott, and I bring over 20 years of leadership in mental health, healthcare, and coaching — rooted in a passion for helping people live with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor, ICF-Certified Coach, Clinical Supervisor, College Professor, and Organizational Psychology Practitioner. With a doctorate in Healthcare Administration and a master’s in Community Clinical Counseling, I’ve led large-scale clinical operations and built programs that empower individuals, communities, and professionals to thrive.

I specialize in helping people navigate life transitions, trauma, grief, identity shifts, and burnout. My approach blends therapy, coaching, and real-world strategy to help clients reconnect with who they are — and rise into who they’re meant to be.

Through initiatives like Clinician Think Tank and Therapy Parties™, I’ve mentored hundreds of professionals and brought healing conversations into homes, churches, and boardrooms. I’ve also worked with the NFL and Wounded Warrior Project, and appeared on platforms like Old School 100.3 FM, WURD 900 AM, and Diva Docs, advocating for mental wellness across every space.

My work is guided by the promise of Jeremiah 29:11 — a reminder that healing begins with hope, and every future holds possibility.

Whether you're here for therapy, counseling, or coaching — I’m honored you’ve found your way to our practice.

Common Queries

Asked Questions!

How can therapy help me?

Therapy gives you a safe place to talk, heal, and grow. Whether you're facing stress, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, or just feeling stuck — a therapist helps you understand what's going on and gives you tools to feel better and move forward.

Do I really need therapy?

If you're asking the question, chances are therapy could help. You don’t have to wait until things get really bad. Sometimes you just need someone outside your circle to talk to, think things through with, and feel supported while you work through life’s challenges.

What kind things do people go to therapy for?

People come to therapy for all kinds of reasons: anxiety, trauma, loss, relationship challenges, life transitions, or personal growth. Whether you're healing from the past or planning your next move, therapy meets you where you are.

What happens during a session?

Most sessions are about an hour. You’ll talk about what’s going on in your life, your goals, and anything that’s bothering you. It’s a judgment-free space where your therapist listens, asks questions, and helps guide you toward clarity and healing.

Therapy vs. Medication—what’s the difference?

Medication can help with symptoms, especially in the short term. Therapy helps you get to the root of what you're feeling and learn how to cope, grow, and make lasting change. Sometimes, people use both together — it depends on your unique needs.

How much does therapy cost?

If you have insurance, your plan may cover some or all of the cost. Without insurance, sessions start at $150, with rates varying based on the type of service and provider. We also offer limited reduced-fee spots to keep care accessible. Let’s talk through what works best for you.

Do you take insurance?

Yes, we accept many insurance plans. Every plan is different, so it’s best to call your provider and ask:

▸ Do I have mental health benefits?
▸ What’s my co-pay or deductible?
▸ How many sessions are covered?
▸ Do I need a referral from my primary care physician?

Will my sessions be private? (Confidential)

Absolutely! Your privacy is our top priority. What you share in therapy stays between you and your therapist, unless you give written permission or there’s a risk of harm to you or someone else. You’ll get a full confidentiality policy when you start.
